Ate at Eisies Saturday morning and enjoyed the service from Kennie so much, we returned Sunday morning to dine again!

A gem of a diner in the heart of the City……
Hi Josh — this is your second cousin Doug, from SF. We met a few years ago and went out for Chinese food on Mott St. with your Mom and Mike. You’re in the news these days — my son Dan will be calling you tomorrow, he’s really excited to know there’s pastrami in the family, around the corner from where he works. Ate at Eisenberg’s for first time yesterday and loved it. By coincidence, last night I’m watching a circa 1961 episode of Car 54 Where Are You and in it a marriage broker is investigated for matching poor old Mr. Eisenberg, Bronx deli owner, with Joan Crawford. I’m now wondering whether this reference has any connection to my new favorite sandwich shop?
